General
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Weavin is designed for non-technical users. The entire setup — from creating an avatar to deploying it on a chat platform — is done through a web interface with guided steps.
What is an Avatar?
An Avatar is your AI agent. It's a persistent, always-on assistant that runs on a dedicated cloud instance and connects to one or more chat platforms. Each avatar has its own personality, AI model, and channel configuration.
Can I run multiple avatars?
Yes. Each avatar is independent — with its own configuration, channels, and subscription. You can create as many as you need.
Avatars & Models
What is BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)?
If you already have API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or OpenRouter, you can use them in Weavin. This means AI model usage is billed directly by the provider, and you get access to all of that provider's models. See API Keys for setup.
Can I switch models after deployment?
Yes. You can change the AI model from the Avatar Detail page at any time. The change takes effect on the next message — no restart or redeployment needed.
Will my avatar be online 24/7?
Yes. As long as your subscription is active, your avatar runs on a dedicated cloud instance that's always on. If the underlying machine encounters an issue, Weavin automatically monitors and can restart it.
Channels
Can one avatar run on multiple platforms?
Yes. A single avatar can operate on Telegram, Discord, Slack, Feishu, and WebChat simultaneously. Each platform needs its own credentials, but the avatar shares the same personality and AI model across all channels.
What happens if I disconnect a channel?
The avatar immediately stops responding on that platform. Other connected channels are unaffected. You can reconnect at any time.
Are my bot tokens safe?
All credentials (bot tokens, API keys, app secrets) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. Weavin never displays the full token after you save it — only the last 4 characters are shown for identification.
Billing
How does billing work?
Each avatar has its own monthly subscription. The Standard plan is $59.90/mo per avatar. Billing starts when you deploy and renews monthly. All payments go through Stripe.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings > Billing or the Avatar Detail page. Your avatar continues running until the end of the current billing period, then stops automatically.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards, debit cards, and other methods supported by Stripe in your region.
Can I get a refund?
Contact info@weavin.ai within 7 days of purchase.
Technical
What infrastructure does each avatar use?
Each avatar gets a dedicated container with 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM, running on Fly.io's global edge network. No resources are shared between avatars.
Is my data private?
Yes. Each avatar runs in an isolated environment. Weavin does not use your conversation data for training or share it with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What's the capacity limit?
Weavin manages capacity to ensure quality of service. If the platform is at capacity, you can join the waitlist and you'll be notified when a slot opens.
