Memory & BUSINESS.md

Memory is what your avatar knows about your business. It's yours: browsable, searchable, editable, and deletable — entry by entry or all at once.

What it remembers

Facts about your business accumulate as your avatar works: who your customers are, what you sell, how you like things phrased, what happened last month. Each entry shows its category, when it was learned, where it came from, and how confident the avatar is in it.

You own it

  • Browse and search — filter by category, search by keyword
  • Edit — open any entry and correct it; corrections stick
  • Forget — delete one entry, or use Forget all to wipe the slate (with a confirmation — this is one of the few irreversible things you can do)

BUSINESS.md

The foundation of memory is BUSINESS.md — a living playbook written in plain text that you can edit directly: brand, customers, channels, and a Decisions section spelling out what your avatar may decide on its own versus what must come to you. Your avatar reads it before acting; edits take effect immediately, and an update history shows every save.

When your avatar keeps getting something wrong, the fastest fix is usually one sentence in BUSINESS.md — it beats correcting the same thing in chat ten times.

How it learns

Learning is visible, not silent. When your avatar picks something up, the moment is recorded and reviewable; when learning would change how it behaves, that change arrives as a proposal with evidence — covered in Superpowers and Trust & approvals.
