WebChat
WebChat is Weavin's built-in chat interface. It lets you talk to your avatars directly in the browser — no external platform needed.
Accessing WebChat
- Sign in to your dashboard
- Click WebChat in the sidebar navigation
- Select an avatar from the contact list on the left
Features
Conversation List
The left panel shows all your avatars as chat contacts. Each contact displays:
- Avatar name
- Last message preview
- Timestamp of the most recent message
Search
Use the search bar to filter conversations. Search works across:
- Avatar names
- Message content in all conversations
Matching text is highlighted in the results for quick scanning.
Chat Window
The main chat area shows the full conversation history with the selected avatar. You can:
- Send text messages
- See the avatar's responses in real-time
- Clear the conversation history
Avatar Settings
Click the Settings icon in the chat header to jump directly to the avatar's configuration page.
Use Cases
- Testing — Verify your avatar's personality and responses before connecting to external platforms
- Debugging — Check how your avatar handles specific prompts
- Quick interaction — Chat with your avatar without switching to Telegram, Discord, etc.
WebChat conversations are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data will remove the chat history.
Tips
- WebChat is always available for every avatar — no channel setup required
- Use it to refine your avatar's personality prompt iteratively
- The avatar responds using the same AI model and configuration as on external platforms
