Create Avatar
An Avatar is your AI agent — a persistent, always-on assistant that lives on one or more chat platforms. This guide covers every option in the creation wizard.
The 4-Step Wizard
Step 1: Define Your Avatar

| Name | Display name of your agent (e.g. "Luna Assistant") |
| Personality | A system prompt that defines behavior, tone, and expertise |
| Language | Primary response language — English, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean |
| Model | The AI model that powers your avatar (see Models) |
Write a detailed personality prompt. Instead of "be helpful," try: "You are a friendly community manager for a crypto project. You answer questions about tokenomics, explain technical concepts simply, and use casual language."
Step 2: Select Channels
Choose which platforms your avatar should be active on. You can select multiple channels — a single avatar can operate on Telegram, Discord, and WebChat simultaneously.
Available channels:
- WebChat — Built-in browser chat (always available)
- Telegram — Groups and private chats
- Discord — Servers and threads
- Slack — Channels and DMs
- Feishu / Lark — Enterprise messaging
Step 3: Connect
For each selected channel, you'll need to provide authentication credentials. The wizard shows step-by-step instructions for each platform. See Configure Channels for detailed guides.
Step 4: Deploy
Review your configuration and confirm. After payment, Weavin:
- Provisions a dedicated cloud instance (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM)
- Installs the OpenClaw runtime with your configuration
- Connects to your selected platforms
- Starts responding to messages
Deployment takes 30–60 seconds.
After Creation
Once your avatar is live, you can manage it from the Avatar Detail page:
- Edit personality, name, or language
- Switch to a different AI model
- Add or remove channels
- View token usage and message statistics
- Stop / Start / Redeploy the underlying machine
Tips
- You can run multiple avatars — each one has its own configuration, channels, and billing
- Use the WebChat feature to test your avatar before connecting external platforms
- Avatar changes (personality, model) take effect immediately — no redeployment needed for most settings
